Eco parents, swap what your bubs have outgrown for what they need at the etitude Baby & Kids Goodie Swap, a fun afternoon of all kinds of baby & kids items exchanged in aid of raising funds for Oncology Children’s Foundation (OCF) to help kids with cancer and at the same time save your pocket and your planet!
Date: SAT 16 JULY 2011
Time: 1pm-4pm
Where: Leinster Grove Community Hall, 99 Leinster Gve Thornbury
Tickets: $20 online or $25 on the door, Group Ticket discount available, buy more than 10 tickets at $15 per ticket. Each ticket includes one free organic cordial on arrival before 1:30pm.
All children are free to attend and there will be plenty fun activities for kids to do so bring your family along and make it a day out. There will be an eco market at the event with local businesses that endorse sustainable living & natural parenting, as well as lots of great door prizes, give-aways, free samples and specials for attendees. Plus if you book your tickets in advance you automatically go in the draw to WIN a $50 ettitude gift voucher!
How the swap works……
Bring up to 10 items to swap, can be clothes, books, toys, anything you bubs don’t need anymore. The number of items you bring determines the number of items you can take home.
All items must be in good quality condition, clean and neatly folded or packed. All items will be screened at registration to maintain quality standards.
There are no rules as to how much the item is worth, items are valued and seen differently by all individuals.
Check in of items will begin at 1:00pm – you will be given a drink voucher on arrival for the free organic cordial and tokens in place of each of the checked in items. Swapping will begin at 1:30pm.
Once you are happy with your items, proceed to the registration tables to “check out” and pay using your tokens.
At the end of the swap the left over items can be taken by gold coin donations if you had used up all your tokens so hanging around to get some more bargains! After the event any left over items will all be sent to sick kids in Kanti Children’s Hospital in Nepal.
It is unlikely to walk away empty handed from the event, however we cannot guarantee this – being a one off event no refunds will be given.
